We would like to distribute fliers on Monday, September 13th. If you can offer any help in helping us gain access to a school district, please let me know by email, text or phone call. If you haven’t registered or Broadtexter yet, get yourself signed up. See the bottom of any page on the website. Punch in your information and you will receive updates regarding happenings at the track.
Also, we’re looking for parents to help us gain access to school districts. There will be a list posted at the track tonight. Several parents have already set up delivery to school districts, so jump on board and help us make CNY BMX the best track in NYS.
On October 2nd and 3rd, CNY BMX volunteers and riders will be attending the Big Boys Big Toys event, just outside Oneida, NY. The event focuses on a range of products and activities and BMX fits right in with the crowd. If you’d like more information on the event, please click here.
The promoters will be providing CNY BMX with a front end loader and dirt on site to make the promotion into a mini-BMX expo. Couple that with our 2 person fuly automatic starting gate and there will definitely be a crowd on hand that will hopefully bring in some new riders. Steven Denton, Nicholas Rauch, and Kelly Barney continued work on the announcer’s tower tonight. Looks like we might have the whole structure buttoned up in the next week or so. Trim around the windows, hang the remainder of the metal siding, and construct the doors and windows, and then it is on to wiring in a sub-box, the pump, and outlets for the PA system.
