Reminder of February board meeting this Wednesday-February 8th at 6:30 at the Bridgewater Town Building. Voting of new board members will take place-please come and cast your vote and be an active participant in the track. If you have any new business to add to the agenda, please text Nick info.

The 2012 Open House is schedule for April 25th, 26th and 27th from 6:00-8:00. There will be volunteers there to help with the new riders and veteren riders there also to help out!
The first race of the season on April 28th. This will also be a trophy race for all riders that race!

Our 2011 Awards Banquet is this Saturday-February 4th at 3:00 at the Bridgewater Municipal Building. If you haven’t already please RSVP to Nick…315-404-2713. $5.00 per person payable at the door! Hope to see you all there! Trophies for top finishers in each group! Come celebrate a great season of riding!

As a result of establishing a unified BMX sanctioning body in New York, we have way too many riders and tracks for one district. Therefore, we have chosen to create 3 more districts to keep the riders excited about battling for that lower earned number each season. With tracks spread out across the state, we always look to establish districts that make sense geographically speaking as well as maki…ng sense in terms of opportunities for kids to race in that area. We feel that the map you see below is the best compromise in that regard.

USA BMX will take care of moving the riders into their appropriate district once the 2011 points are finalized. At that time, new USA BMX membership cards will be sent to the riders, and we will be sending another email with a current membership update that will reflect these changes.

At our February Board Meeting (February 8th ) we will be electing new officials for open positions. If you are interested in being considered for any of the above positions please let Nick Rauch know so you can be added to the ballot.
The following positions will be elected:

Treasurer- Katie Terns or Debi Rauch (1 elected)
Track Director- Nick Rauch
Head Official- Trudy Coffin
Head Scorer- Cindy Buss
Secretary- Allison Legacy
Promotions- Jay Kulzak and Donna Senko (2 elected)
Website- Kelly Barney and Donna Senko (2 elected)

All these positions are important and involvement by our volunteers and parents is important to a successful track.
Every volunteer and parent has a voice in the decisions made at the track. Get involved to get your opinion and your voice heard.
